So, what's this all about?

About 3 years ago, I started collecting links to library blogs for a book chapter I was writing on the potential of blogs to extend a library's web services. Back then, there were only a handful of libraries experimenting with blogs and I thought it was important to share the list as it grew, and that's what I did, with the help of blogrolling. Over the past few months, the list has positively exploded, which got me thinking that it was probably time to set it free and let it take care of itself! Hence, the Blogging Libraries Wiki.

I continue to be blown away by the wonderful and varied applications for which libraries are using blogs, so do share a link to your library's blog if it isn't here already.
