Can we get these in t-shirts for the ALA march on the capital?
Oh… I just read your Tweet. Of course Neil is way ahead of me
Right on the mark!
@pcsweeney yeah, the design was in response to a request from Neil G for something t-shirt worthy. however, If you want to crank a few t-shirts out yourself, check with Daniel, the designer. the image is rights-protected, but he might be willing…
…and he is! hooray!
Hey! I just released the design under creative commons license. Feel free to distribute, remix, and so forth!
brilliant! thanks, Daniel.
Not a problem! Hope it’s not too late for ALA.

I love that this post is tagged as “goodsense” because that is exactly what this sentiment is — good sense!
The ALA march on the capital?! I’m glad my off-the-cuff comment is helping out such a good cause!

Love the design…and the quote. Even if it’s not through libraries, people need to constantly be learning and bettering themselves. I myself lived in a library as a kid and attribute my breadth of knowledge to immersing myself in so many books.
Great! I’ve always liked: “Libraries will get you through times of no money better than money will get you through times of no libraries.” (That was Anne Herbert, I believe.)
