IL2007
The conference is over and this is my first (and most likely my second-to-last) post about it. It was good. There are usually 2 things I look for in a conference: to learn something new and to be inspired. I learned multiple new things and I was definitely inspired (Joe Janes’ keynote on Tuesday takes a good deal of credit for that). Selfishly, my favourite part of the conference was the Academic Library 2.0 preconference I did with some of my favourite colleagues & friends: Chad Boeninger, Michelle Boule, Meredith Farkas, and Jason Griffey. A great, hearty Thank You to the four of them for making it a successful, fun, and totally rewarding day. I can’t wait to share the podium (and a few beers) with these folks again!
The official “what I learned at IL2007″ post is coming soon, right after I get to the one I promised for Access! I’ve got a couple of days to make it happen before my course for the Education Institute begins, and before the Learning 2.0 programme I’m leading for campus Career services also begins. On Monday. Don’t hold your breath, yo.
