If you or your library is looking to add a blog to your site but first need to bone up on the technology and everything it has to offer, there are a couple of upcoming online courses you should know about. Steven is facilitating one on blogs & RSS over at LearningTimes, and Megan Fox is holding one on new technologies for librarians (including PDAs, WiFi, blogs & RSS) via the continuing ed school at Simmons [via stuff]. They both sound like great courses and reading over the details for each has got me thinking about proposing something similar for the Ontario Library Association’s Education Institute.
